Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation - S01

When Shoutarou Tatewaki crosses paths with Sakurako Kujou, he quickly realizes his ordinary days are over. At first, he suspects her of being involved in a local disappearance, but the truth is far stranger-Sakurako has an unusual passion for studying bones, particularly animal skeletons, though she secretly craves human specimens, much to everyone's discomfort. Before long, Shoutarou finds himself dragged into Sakurako's world as she investigates one unsolved case after another, often involving unidentified remains. But as these unsettling discoveries pile up, he starts to wonder if there's something darker connecting them all. "Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru" follows the odd partnership between a reluctant high schooler and a brilliant but eccentric bone expert. Together, they learn that while bones reveal the secrets of death, it's the living who hold the stories of a person's life.
