Beast King GoLion - S01
Golion, a sentient robot with immense power, misuses his strength by ruthlessly slaughtering creatures called Deathblack Beastmen, bragging that no one can stop him. As punishment for his arrogance and cruelty, a divine cosmic entity splits Golion into five separate lion robots. In 1999, five young men return to Earth from a space mission only to discover it has been devastated by nuclear war. After crossing paths with the alien Galra, they find themselves on the planet Altea, where they learn the five lion robots-Golion’s fragmented forms-lie dormant across the world. Now, the group must reunite the lions to revive Golion, humanity’s last hope for survival. (Source: ANN) About Voltron (U.S.)
