Anima Yell! - S01

Kohane Hatoya has a heart of gold, but her eagerness to help others sometimes gets her in over her head. Her passion for lending a hand first sparked in middle school when she saw cheerleading for the first time. Now in high school, she dreams of starting her own cheerleading squad, fueled by encouragement from her best friend, Uki Sawatari, who often bails her out of trouble. There’s just one catch: Kohane knows nothing about cheerleading. She doesn’t understand the moves, the uniforms, or the routines. Worse yet, she’s terrified of heights-a problem when the sport demands stunts high above the ground for someone her size. Then she spots Hizume Arima, a former cheerleader trying to leave the sport behind. But Kohane won’t let her walk away. Determined to make her dream team a reality, she’s ready to confront her fears-and convince Hizume to help, whether she likes it or not.
