Angel Sanctuary - S01

Setsuna Mudo is a 16-year-old high school student doing his best to avoid trouble, especially from the older students who bully him. His life is further complicated by his unrequited love for his younger sister, Sara, whom he only sees once a month. But beneath the surface, there’s more going on than just surviving school. Strange beings-angels and demons-suddenly appear, each insisting they know his true fate. The angels believe he is the reborn form of their leader, Alexiel, while the demons say he once led them in a war against God. Caught between these conflicting claims, Setsuna grapples with his identity as tensions between Heaven and Hell begin to rise again. When the ancient conflict reignites, will he be ready to face what’s coming?
