Five distinct worlds-Black, White, Green, Red, and Blue-are connected by the "Halo," maintaining a delicate equilibrium. But when the Halo unexpectedly opens during an event called the World Connect, the universe faces imminent destruction. Ouroboros, an alien race intent on hastening the universe’s demise, launches an assault. To fight back, the five worlds gather girls with extraordinary abilities known as Exceed. Saya Sougetsu, a girl from Earth’s Blue World, possesses Exceed power and sees this as her opportunity to change things. She eagerly enlists in the defense force, where she encounters Amane Ayashiro, another girl from Earth, and fighters from the other worlds.
