Akiba's Trip The Animation - S01

Brother and sister otaku Tamotsu and Niwaka Denkigai are browsing Akihabara when the district is suddenly invaded by vampiric cosplay monsters called "Bugged Ones." These creatures spread chaos by biting and possessing their victims. After one of them corners Tamotsu, he's saved by the enigmatic Matome Mayonaka, who fights them off with a baseball bat. The two battle more Bugged Ones together, but Tamotsu is mortally wounded shielding Matome. Left with no options, she revives him as a powerful Bugged One-just like herself. Now teamed up with the hyperactive cosplayer Arisa Ahokainen, they form the group "The Electric Mayonnaise" and take on the Bugged Ones in their own bizarre way: by tearing off the monsters' clothes and exposing them to sunlight.
