Akame ga Kill! - S01
アカメが斬る！ , Akame ga Kiru!
Night Raid is the secret assassination unit of the Revolutionary Army, a rebellion formed to overthrow Prime Minister Honest. The prime minister exploits the young emperor's weakness to satisfy his own hunger for power, leaving the country in chaos and its people suffering in poverty. Though the members of Night Raid are skilled killers, they don't glorify their work-they know the blood on their hands may one day demand payment as they cut down anyone opposing the revolution. Their latest recruit is Tatsumi, a naïve boy from a remote village who set out to save his struggling home. He’s drawn not just to Night Raid’s ideals but also their unwavering determination. "Akame ga Kill!" follows Tatsumi as he battles the Empire, facing deadly weapons, rival assassins, and the moral dilemmas of his new life-learning what it really means to kill for a cause.
