A3! - S01

Veludo Way is a bustling street known for its live performances, drawing crowds eager to see professional actors in action. Izumi Tachibana receives a strange letter leading her to the theater where her father once directed the Mankai Company, a once-famous troupe. But when she arrives, she discovers the building is set to be shut down due to overwhelming debt. In a desperate move, Izumi negotiates with the debt collector, who agrees to spare the theater-but only if three harsh conditions are met: they must stage a successful debut show within a month, revive all four of the company's all-male sub-troupes, and repay the debt in a year. Worst of all, Izumi has to take on the role of director herself. With the clock ticking, she scrambles to assemble the Spring Troupe, recruiting five unlikely candidates: Sakuya Sakuma, a bright-eyed high schooler; Masumi Usui, a boy hopelessly smitten with Izumi; Tsuzuru Minagi, a budding playwright; Itaru Chigasaki, a weary office worker; and Citron, a cheerful foreigner. None of them have much acting experience, but Izumi must whip them into shape for a performance that could save the Mankai Company-or doom it for good.
