Konoha Koga seems like an ordinary high school girl living by herself, but she hides a secret-she moonlights as an assassin. One day, she crosses paths with Satoko Kusagukare, a runaway ninja being chased by her own people after an accidental betrayal. When Konoha kills one of Satoko's pursuers, the ninja reveals her unusual talent for disposing of bodies. Impressed, Konoha proposes an arrangement: Satoko can stay with her if she helps clean up after her kills. Now living together, the assassin and the ninja settle into an oddly harmonious life, whether at home or teaming up for their mutual benefit.
