A Bridge to the Starry Skies - S01

Kazuma Hoshino is stepping into adolescence, but his family’s move from the city to the countryside complicates things. His brother Ayumu’s fragile health prompted the relocation, and for now, the boys will stay at the Yorozuyo Inn while their parents wrap up loose ends. Their journey starts with mishaps: they take the wrong bus, end up stranded, and Ayumu’s hat gets snatched by a monkey. Kazuma chases the animal into the woods, only to get lost. There, he meets Ui, a lively girl helping him back to the bus stop-until he trips, lands on her, and their lips accidentally meet. Ui’s friend Ibuki doesn’t take kindly to this and sends Kazuma packing with a swift kick. Things don’t improve at the inn, where the mischievous landlady Senka enjoys teasing him. To make matters worse, he discovers two of his new classmates are the very girls he embarrassed himself in front of earlier. As Kazuma adjusts to school life, juggling new relationships and supporting Ayumu, strange flickers of the past haunt him-hints of a forgotten friendship and a simpler time. What do these fleeting memories mean?
