18if - S01

Teenager Haruto Tsukishiro wakes up in an unfamiliar bedroom inside a dream world. On his phone, he discovers a strange app-when he opens it, a bizarre woman appears and tries to pull him into her realm. A mysterious white-haired girl intervenes, cutting their connection and helping him escape. She explains that the woman is a witch, but before she can say more, their conversation is interrupted. Later, when Haruto reenters the realm, he meets Katsumi Kanzaki, a talking, human-like cat. With the witch’s minions chasing them, the white-haired girl opens an escape route. Afterward, Haruto describes their rescuer-who only he can see-and Katsumi, an expert on dream world research, identifies her as "Lily," a recurring presence across different dreamscapes. Hoping to leave through a blue door, they venture back into the witch’s domain. Cornered and in danger, Lily reveals the truth: witches suffer from "Sleeping Beauty Syndrome," a deep sleep caused by real-world suffering. They can’t wake until they’re defeated in the dream world. Haruto and Katsumi defeat the witch and find the blue door, parting ways with plans to reunite in the real world. But when Haruto steps through, he awakens back in the dream world bedroom. Determined to understand why he can’t leave, Haruto and Katsumi set out to unravel the secrets of the witches, Lily, and Haruto’s own trapped state.
