Sushi Police

Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi, has gained worldwide popularity, especially after Tokyo was named the host of the 2020 Olympics. However, some restaurants take advantage of this trend, serving distorted versions of traditional dishes-like rolls drenched in cream cheese and teriyaki sauce-abominations that have no place in authentic sushi dining. That’s where the Sushi Police come in. As guardians of Japan’s culinary heritage, the World Food-culture Conservation Organization formed its 9th Unit with a mission: to shut down any restaurant around the globe that dishonors the name of sushi. They operate from a massive, ship-shaped blimp, descending directly onto offending establishments and leaving nothing but wreckage behind.
