Stellvia of the Universe
In 2167 AD, a devastating electromagnetic shockwave ravages Earth, caused by the supernova of a nearby star, Hydrus Beta, located 20 light-years away. The story takes place 189 years later, in 2356 AD, after humanity has rebuilt civilization and united to prepare for the second shockwave. Unlike the first, this wave will carry a significant amount of stellar debris from the remnants of the exploded star.
