Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis
After winning the National Middle School Tennis Tournament, twelve-year-old tennis prodigy Ryouma Echizen heads to the United States to hone his skills further. Alongside his training, he begins digging into the unanswered questions surrounding his father’s sudden retirement from professional tennis. Ryouma’s father, Nanjiro, was once a legendary player known as "Samurai Nanjiro," but his career mysteriously ended after the US Open finals years ago. Though Ryouma has analyzed the match footage, key details remain unclear-details he could only uncover by witnessing the event firsthand. By a strange twist of fate, Ryouma-along with his oblivious classmate Sakuno Ryuzaki-is sent back in time to the day of that fateful match. At first, everything appears normal, but when the mafia gets involved, the truth behind Nanjiro’s retirement becomes far more tangled. Against all odds, Ryouma must piece together the mystery and stop his father’s career from ending prematurely.
