Ranma ½

Ranma Saotome, a young martial artist, journeys to China with his father, Genma, to train at the infamous Jusenkyo springs-a place rumored to be cursed. Ignoring the warnings of a local guide, they accidentally fall into the springs and become cursed themselves. Now, whenever Ranma gets splashed with cold water, he transforms into a girl-a petite, redheaded version of himself. Hot water reverses the change, but the effect is only temporary, leaving him stuck in a cycle of shifting forms. To complicate things further, his father arranges an engagement between Ranma and Akane Tendo, a girl who despises boys.
