Persia, the Magic Fairy
Persia is an upbeat and devoted 11-year-old girl who has spent her childhood surrounded by animals on Africa’s Serengeti plains. When twins Riki and Gaku Muroi and their grandfather, Goken, take her to Japan, she settles in Minato-machi with a couple who run a grocery store. On the flight back, Persia stumbles into the "Lovely Dream," a realm where dreams take shape. There, the Fairy Queen-appearing as a butterfly-tells her the Lovely Dream is under threat and asks for her aid. She gifts Persia a golden star-adorned headband that responds to the word "Papurikko," allowing her to summon a magic baton that connects both worlds and transform into an older version of herself by saying "Perukko Raburin Kurukuru Rinkuru." With three kappa companions, Persia returns to the real world tasked with gathering love energy to revive the frozen Lovely Dream.
