Oruchuban Ebichu

Ebichu is a hamster who appears to be the ideal pet-she cleans, shops, cooks, does laundry, and does everything she can to make her owner, an unnamed "Office Lady" (OL),happy. But between OL's unreliable boyfriend and Ebichu's own over-the-top energy and ice cream obsession, the little hamster often ends up on the receiving end of harsh, even violent, discipline. Still, Ebichu doesn’t really care about the punishment as long as she succeeds in brightening her master’s day, even just a little.
