Marvelous Melmo

After her mother dies in a car accident, nine-year-old Melmo Watari suddenly has to care for her two little brothers-preschooler Totoo and baby Touch. From Heaven, their mother sees how hard life has become for them and returns as a ghost to give Melmo a jar of magical candies. These sweets can change Melmo’s age by ten years or even turn her into any animal. Using these powers, she takes on different forms-often disguising herself as a 19-year-old woman-to protect and raise her brothers while still trying to live an ordinary childhood.
