Kenji Tomosaka moved to this seaside town as a child. Back then, the ocean stretched out before him, shimmering like lemonade under the summer sun. That’s where he met Nanami Konoe, the girl who lived next door. Her room was barely a meter or two away from his, just across the veranda-so close they could almost reach out and touch each other. As time passed and the seasons changed, their memories grew, filling the ordinary moments of their lives with quiet meaning. To them, their simple, everyday bond was something rare and precious. Now the sun burns brighter, the cicadas hum, and the sky clears-summer returns once more. For Kenji and Nanami, it’s just another summer, yet somehow, it feels different this time.
