Humanoid Monster Bem
Three yokai-Bem, Bela, and Belo-arrive in a sprawling coastal city shrouded in darkness, a place where human cruelty and the mischief of monsters have twisted the air itself. Despite the hostility they face from humans, who fear and scorn them for their monstrous forms, the trio chooses to stay. They defend the city’s people from other yokai and supernatural threats, forming fragile bonds with a few who see past their appearances. Though treated as outcasts, they cling to the hope that their acts of protection might one day earn them the humanity they long for.
