Hanada Shounen-shi

"Hanada Shōnen Shi" is a Japanese manga series by Makoto Isshiki, following the misadventures of a troublemaking boy named Hanada Ichiro. After hitting his head in an accident, he gains the ability to see and communicate with ghosts. The manga ran in "Mr. Magazine" from 1993 to 1995 and won the Kodansha Manga Award in the general category in 1995. Madhouse adapted it into a 25-episode anime, which aired on NTV starting October 1, 2002. In 2006, Shochiku produced a live-action film version titled "Hanada Shōnen Shi: Ghosts and a Tunnel of Secrets."
