Government Crime Investigation Agent Zaizen Jotaro

After Japan's economic bubble burst, the country gradually rebuilt itself, but corrupt politicians and businessmen continue to exploit others for their own gain. Keiichi Suzuki, the head of Ōshika Construction, and Seijiro Matsuzaka, a member of parliament, have an arrangement: Ōshika cuts corners on materials while still getting their buildings approved. But their scheme doesn't go unnoticed-the Government Crime Investigation Agency (GCIA),Japan's independent, FBI-like organization, is closing in. Leading the case is Jotaro Zaizen, a former police officer presumed dead, who assembles a team with personal grudges against Suzuki and Matsuzaka. In response, Suzuki enlists the Haoukokuryu-kai, a yakuza syndicate, to push back against the GCIA.
