Fruits Basket
Tohru Honda is a 16-year-old orphan who ends up living with her classmate, the quiet and handsome Sohma Yuki, along with his cousins-the fiery Kyo, also 16, and the easygoing 27-year-old Shigure. But the Sohma family hides a strange secret: if someone of the opposite sex hugs them, they transform into animals from the Chinese Zodiac. As Tohru settles into their home, she finds herself drawn into their world, navigating everyday life alongside Yuki and Kyo-sometimes ordinary, sometimes wildly unusual. Yet the family’s curse isn’t just quirky; it carries deep pain and suffering, shaping their lives in ways Tohru slowly begins to understand.
