El-Hazard: The Wanderers

Makoto Mizuhara is conducting an experiment in the school science lab when his rival, Katsuhiko Jinnai, shows up and tries to sabotage his work. The interference causes the device to malfunction, sending Makoto, Jinnai, his sister Nanami, and their teacher Mr. Fujisawa to the fantastical world of El Hazard. Makoto and Fujisawa find themselves in the kingdom of Roshtaria, where they meet Princess Rune Venus. Meanwhile, Jinnai joins forces with the Bugrom, a warlike race of giant insects, while Nanami struggles to survive alone in the desert. As Makoto searches for a way back home, he must also battle the Bugrom, seek aid from the Holy Priestesses, and prevent the demon god Ifurita from unleashing destruction upon El Hazard.
