Doomed Megalopolis
At the dawn of the 20th century, Tokyo stands at the heart of Japan's rapid modernization. Western ideas and industrial progress are reshaping the nation, pulling it away from its traditional roots. In 1908, Yasumasa Hirai, an onmyoji of the Tsuchimikado family, is summoned from Kyoto to attend a secret meeting about transforming Tokyo into Japan's most prosperous and thriving city. But his mission is opposed by Yasunori Kato, a dark onmyoji who seeks nothing less than Tokyo's total ruin. As the two clash, their struggle will decide the fate of the city-and the empire itself.
