Dash Kappei

Kappei Sakamoto is a high school student with incredible athletic talent who joins Seirin High School's basketball team, quickly proving himself as one of their best players. Despite his skills, he has an unusual disadvantage for a basketball player-he’s less than a meter tall. Kappei also has a peculiar obsession with white panties, which gets him into trouble when he tries to sneak peeks at the team’s fiery female coach, Natsu, who always catches him and delivers a beating. His athleticism isn’t limited to basketball, though; he soon tries out for every sport the school offers and excels at all of them. In the first episode, Kappei meets Akane Aki, a kind and athletic girl who later joins the ping-pong team and becomes the basketball team’s assistant coach. To his delight, Akane also wears white panties, and Kappei becomes determined to win her affection. When his absent parents move to the U.S., he ends up living with Akane and her family. But he faces an unexpected rival-Akane’s dog, Seiichiro, who dreams of marrying her and despises Kappei. Seiichiro constantly schemes to ruin their relationship, though only Kappei can understand his speech.
