Dancougar – Super Beast Machine God
"Dancougar - Super Beast Machine God" is a super robot anime series that aired from April to December 1985, spanning 38 episodes. Produced by Ashi Productions, it was originally planned for 52 episodes but ended abruptly without a proper finale. Despite this, the show gained enough popularity to spawn several OVAs. "Juusenki Tai Songs" compiled music videos using footage from the TV series, set to its theme and insert songs. The 1986 OVA "Requiem for Victims" recapped the series and provided a newly animated ending. A sequel, "God Bless Dancouga," followed in 1987. In 1989, the four-part "Blazing Epilogue" OVA series continued the story as another sequel.
