Cross Ange: Rondo of Angels and Dragons

Humanity has reached new heights thanks to "Mana," a powerful technology that has nearly eradicated war, hunger, and pollution. In this peaceful era, Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi, the privileged first princess of the Misurugi Empire, has lived a life free of hardship-until she discovers she is a "Norma," one of the rare humans unable to use Mana and shunned by society. Stripped of her status, she is exiled to a remote island, where she encounters other Normas who pilot humanoid weapons called Para-mails. Their mission: to defend the world from interdimensional dragons.
