Chobits
Tokyo is filled with persocoms-human-like computers that seem flawless. Hideki, who struggles with both social skills and technology, desperately wants one. One day, he discovers Chii thrown away in the garbage, and she’s even more adorable than any model he’s seen. But when he takes her home and activates her, he realizes she has no stored data and only a basic learning program. As Hideki patiently teaches Chii about the world, a hidden mystery stirs within her, hinting at something darker beneath the surface.
