Burn-Up Excess

The story follows Team Warrior, a specialized anti-terror unit within the Neo-Tokyo Police. The team consists of Rio, who’s always short on cash; Maya, obsessed with firearms; Lillica, their computer whiz; tech expert Nanvel; Yuji, the pilot with a habit of peeping; and their mysterious leader, Maki. Their missions vary from bodyguard assignments and busting robbery rings to safeguarding a heavily armored tank. Along the way, Rio and the others repeatedly foil the schemes of Ruby, an agent working for a secretive group of powerful figures. As tensions build toward a final confrontation, the origins of Team Warrior, Rio’s unlikely recruitment, and Maki’s troubled history come to light.
