Black Jack

Black Jack is an unlicensed surgeon with a shadowy past. Alongside his young assistant Pinoko-who adores him-he takes on obscure medical cases, often strange or perilous, that others refuse or fail to treat. Though he charges exorbitant fees, his unparalleled skill saves nearly every patient who can afford him, earning him a reputation among the world’s medical and scientific communities. A staunch man of science, he relies on proof over faith, yet time and again, he finds himself humbled by the forces of love and nature, which defy the logic he lives by.
