Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman

"Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman" is an anime series produced by TMS Entertainment, inspired by the "CR Ginroku Gijinden Roman" pachinko game. The original character designs were done by Monkey Punch, the creator of "Lupin III." Set in a historical fantasy world, the story follows Manjirou, a man who works as a "helper" during the day but transforms into Roman, a phantom thief known as a "retriever," at night. Roman’s mission is to steal back treasures that were unjustly taken from their rightful owners.
