Kippei is a hopeless flirt, always getting scolded for chasing girls in class or after school. So it comes as a shock when he’s stuck babysitting Yuzuyu, a sweet little girl whose mother has disappeared. Kippei’s family takes her in until her mom is found, and since he could stand to learn some responsibility, he’s somehow the "best" person for the job. The situation turns out to be surprisingly heartwarming. Kippei’s hidden nurturing side comes out as he tries his best for Yuzuyu, though his total lack of know-how-like packing a school lunch-makes his efforts more charming than clueless. Yuzuyu herself is adorable, but never annoyingly so.
