A Little Snow Fairy Sugar
Eleven-year-old Saga Bergman lives in the small German town of Muhlenberg (inspired by the real town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber) with her grandmother Regina. When she’s not in school, she helps out at a local coffee shop. Saga is highly organized, planning every minute of her day. One day, she spots a tiny, starving creature dressed in a fluffy outfit. After feeding it a waffle, the creature perks up and introduces itself as Sugar, an apprentice season fairy. Sugar explains that season fairies change the weather by playing magical instruments-in her case, the piccolo, which creates snow. Soon, two more apprentice fairies join her: Salt, a lively male fairy who uses a trumpet to brighten the sun, and Pepper, a gentle female fairy who plays the harp to summon the wind.
