"Following the everyday lives of four high school girls: the carefree Run, the impulsive Tooru, the shy Yuuko, and the sensible Nagi. In 'Mountain of Pancakes,' Kitou-sensei hurts her hand during class and struggles to manage while Tooru sneaks her cat Tansan into school to meet Yutaka and Miho. Later, the girls go out for pancakes at a café where Miho works, only for things to get awkward when Yutaka unexpectedly shows up. In 'A Picture of a Wish,' Yuuko comes down with a cold, so the others visit to take care of her. Later, they all gather for their traditional New Year's shrine visit."
