A Certain Magical Index

Touma Kamijou is an ordinary student in Academy City, a cutting-edge hub of scientific progress. Though classified as a level zero esper with no apparent powers, his right hand holds a unique ability called the Imagine Breaker, which can nullify any supernatural force. His life takes a turn when he meets Index, a girl fleeing from Necessarius, the powerful magic organization she belongs to. Index possesses an extraordinary memory, storing 103,000 forbidden magical texts in her mind. As the worlds of science and magic collide, Touma finds himself caught in the middle of escalating conflicts between espers and magicians, forcing him to confront danger in the city's bustling streets.
